Spring harvest

A sample of the species I harvested. From top to bottom and from left to right, starting in the left top corner:

  • leaf of Armoracia rusticana (horseradish / mierik)
  • leaf of Galium aparine (cleavers / kleefkruid)
  • leaf of Achillea millefolium (common yarrow / duizendblad)
  • leaf of Claytonia perfoliata (Indian lettuce / winterpostelein)
  • flower of Taraxacum officinale (common dandelion / paardenbloem)
  • stem of Mentha (mint / munt)
  • leafs of Leonorus cardiaca (motherwort / hartgespan)
  • leafs of Melissa officinalis (Lemon balm / citroenmelisse)
  • stems of Lamium purpureum (red dead-nettle / paarse dovenetel)
  • leafs of Aegopodium podagraria (ground elder / zevenblad)
  • leafs of Foeniculum vulgare (fennel / venkel)
  • stems of Urtica dioica (common nettle / grote brandnetel)

Spring harvest of greens

We made tea from yarrow, dandelion, mint, lemon balm and red dead-nettle. We made soup from the rest of the greens.
